The Project
For Unit 9, I developed a complete brand identity for a fictional chocolate brand, Coco Loco, supported by a comprehensive brand guidelines document and bespoke packaging concepts. The project focused on positioning the brand within the mid-range chocolate market, targeting ethically minded consumers aged 20–40.
Through strategic planning, competitor analysis, and visual research, I established a clear creative direction rooted in sustainability, warmth, and personality. This informed the development of a distinctive logo, colour palette, typographic system, patterns, and illustration style, resulting in a cohesive, flexible brand designed to stand out on shelf while communicating strong ethical values.
